Norsk Stål invests in the future

New warehouse with production in Rogaland

The company has bought a 15 300 square meter property on Klepp in Rogaland. Here Norsk Stål will build a 6,000 m2 building with the possibility of expansion.
Norsk Stål built a similar building in 2015 in Larvik, which is one of the most productive rebar steel centers in Northern Europe. Construction start is autumn 2018, and migration is scheduled for summer 2019.

It will also be invested in new facilities for shot blasting and priming as well as edge grinding. The product range will mainly be NORSOK grades such as beams and plates for offshore, but also other steel qualities for land-based industry.

The building will be located in close proximity to the existing warehouse for production for rebar-steel at Klepp, which will continue its operation as normal. Norsk Stål continues to invest for the future, and lead the change for the steel industry in Norway.
