Norsk Stål has a new CEO

Helge Runer assumes the position as CEO of Norsk Stål AS, effective from October 15th, 2019. Runer starts in the position as Peter Thyssen decided to resign from his position in order to explore new challenges.

Helge Runer is an economist with a Master of Management degree from BI Norwegian Business School. Runer has several years of relevant experience from the shipbuilding industry and oil & gas industry. He has been with Norsk Stål for five years and is coming from the position as CFO and Business Development Manager.

The Board believes that Helge Runer has the right qualifications and experience to further advance the company.

At this moment we would also like to thank Peter Thyssen for his contribution to the company and aslo wish Helge Runer good luck with his new tasks as CEO.
